Who are we?

Carob trees, which grow spontaneously in forest lands and other areas in the Çukurova region, which is the most fertile land in Turkey, are harvested by the villagers in the region starting from August to November every year. The carob fruits harvested by the villagers are obtained from trees that have grown in a completely natural environment, without the use of any chemical pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The villagers bring the carob fruits to the collection warehouses of our company and after quality control, the products are weighed and purchased from the villagers. The purchased carob fruits are stored in our sheltered warehouses. After the end of the harvest season, the carob fruits in our warehouses are brought to our carob processing plant in Adana’s Kozan district in December. In our carob processing facility, the products are processed and separated. The parts obtained from the processing of carob fruits are used in the production of carob molasses, animal feed and food sector. We keep the remaining carob kernels (carob seeds) in our warehouses, which are protected from moisture and heat, for export.

Unlike other producers in the world, the carob seeds we have obtained are grown in a completely natural environment. They are not trees that are planted and cultivated afterwards as in other producers. Therefore, our carob trees are trees that have grown and developed completely in natural conditions like other trees growing in our forests. Carob fruits grown on thousands of hectares of the world’s most fertile soil and our by-products obtained from it are 100% organic and have a geographical sign.

With carob beans from our company, you can serve all sectors that need natural and organic additives with peace of mind. As of 2025, we joined forces and gathered under one roof and established KOMOLIVA A.S. With our new company, we started the installation of our new factory. According to our plans, as of September 2025, our new factory will be realized as a “Pomace processing plant” and will be a factory that produces without harming the nature. Our factory will produce refined pomace oil, pomace pellets, dry pomace, pomace seeds, olive oil soap and shisha charcoal made from olive pits. We plan to export shisha charcoal, olive oil soap and pomace pellets from these products to abroad. In addition to Natural and Organic Carob Kernels, carob flour and carob molasses will also be among our export products.
